As strong fiscal conservatives we wholeheartedly support voting YES on proposition 405. Simply put, it’s a wise investment that has returned solid dividends to our community for over 17 years. Here are some examples: Four consecutive years ALL of Vail’s schools have received an Excelling certification; the largest district in Arizona able to make that claim. Because of this performance, property values in the Vail School District are more stable than in other areas of Pima County. Vail has received numerous state and national awards for innovative approaches to education. Vail achieves more with less; $800 less per student than the average Arizona school district. Vail has done its financial part – trimming $8.4 million from its budget in the last two years. Our colleagues in the Arizona Legislature, as well as numerous constituents, consistently remind us that Vail is a district where public education is done right. Government must always strive to be responsible stewards of your hard earned tax dollars. The Vail School District has done just that; earning our trust and our vote. We respectfully ask you join us in continuing the investment in Vail schools by voting YES on Proposition 405. Signed, Frank Antenori Ted Vogt Arizona State Senator Arizona State Representative (R) – LD30 (R) – LD30
